It is also possible to add external effects, separately, for each deck. Vinyl disc simulations are possible as well. You can manually cross-fade from one deck to another or click a button and let the software do it for you. While playing a track, you can use headphones to listen to the next track and make the same adjustments on the second deck. PCDJ DEX allows you to make a wide range of adjustments for different tracks, on separate decks. You can also click and drag your files to a mixing deck, on the upper half of the interface, to cue them. Once you locate your music, you may click and drag your files to the main database, a playlist or a favorites folder. You can explore your local partitions, add music to the program's database and create playlists on the lower half of the window.
